Welcome to the community carnival that has entertained
These two events were cancelled due to a lockdown at a seniors home and have been rescheduled to the following dates.
During Snofest week, events take place all over the city of Peterborough, such as the Public Library, Hutchison House Museum, Peterborough Museum & Archives, and Showplace Performance Centre and the Sport and Wellness Centre. Visit our Links page for information on these venues. On January 9th-10 and 16th Woodchuck Charlie and his Ice People from Bridgenorth will make Downtown Peterborough that much more beautiful with his exquisite ice sculptures at the corner of George Street and Simcoe Street. The exhibition is sponsored by the Businesses in Downtown Peterborough and Peterborough Square and the sculptures will have an Olympic theme. Be sure to come downtown to see Woodchuck Charlie in action and his beautiful works of art. Bravo to all 9 of the Snofest Idol participants! This year's performances went above and beyond anything we've seen since the Snofest Idol debut three years ago and the judges were absolutely torn about narrowing it down to the top three singers. Visit our Featured Events page to view the top 3 winners. |
